Situation
The client needed to evolve their traditional print magazines into engaging digital experiences for iPad users. The goal was to create dynamic, interactive editions that enhanced reader immersion while preserving the original editorial quality and visual identity of the print versions.

Solution
As a Graphic Designer on a one-year contract, I played a key role in transforming print magazines into polished, interactive iPad editions, bridging the gap between physical and digital publishing.

Execution
• Designed and optimized digital layouts in Adobe InDesign, integrating subtle animations, interactive elements, and enhanced storytelling features.
• Collaborated closely with the Art Director and programmers to ensure technical precision, smooth functionality, and seamless performance on iPad devices.
• Supported bilingual (English & French) production workflows, facilitating clear communication across cross-functional teams.
• Managed end-to-end production, including quality control, brand alignment, and messaging accuracy for monthly issues.
Result
The iPad editions successfully delivered a modern, immersive reading experience that improved content clarity and reader engagement. The project maintained high standards of professionalism and visual consistency, effectively extending the reach and impact of the magazines in a growing digital landscape.

Bilingual Magazine Layout Production English & French Editions

The client required consistent, high-quality bilingual magazine layouts for monthly print publications. The challenge was to produce polished, brand-consistent designs that effectively communicated in both English and French while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

I provided specialized bilingual graphic design support, creating professional and visually impactful magazine layouts that bridged language and design excellence.

• Worked closely with the production team to design and refine layouts using Adobe InDesign and the full Adobe Creative Suite.
• Applied meticulous attention to photo manipulation, typography, colour management, grid systems, and visual hierarchy.
